Elise Stefanik texted her supporters this week and you won’t believe what she said now (or maybe you will because it’s who she is), John.

“The Dems anti-freedom vaccine mandate policy has gone too far. The gov't SHOULD NOT make health decisions for you!”

So, let’s get this straight. Stefanik thinks the government shouldn’t be making health decisions for people in the context of a pandemic, yet she has been completely SILENT about Texas’s extreme and dystopian abortion ban which is the government preventing women from making their own health decisions.

Her silence shouldn’t surprise us. She’s voted multiple times to defund Planned Parenthood, even though it provides a wide range of vital health care services to thousands of North Country residents.

Upstate New York deserves better than a hypocritical politician like Elise Stefanik whose selfish motives and far-right agenda endanger the lives of women. In Congress, Matt Putorti will protect reproductive rights from government interference and make healthcare more affordable and accessible.
