Late last month, seven Capitol Police officers filed a lawsuit against Trump and far-right organizations for their role in the January 6 insurrection -- including the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and Roger Stone.
The lawsuit claims what we've been saying all along: Trump "worked with white supremacists, violent extremist groups, and campaign supporters to violate the Ku Klux Klan Act, and commit acts of domestic terrorism in an unlawful effort to stay in power."
These brave officers put their lives on the line that day and faced physical and verbal abuse from the white supremacist mob. Now, they're working to hold Trump and his allies accountable for their attacks on our democracy.
