We’ve told you about how Republicans control enough of the redistricting process that they will be able to gerrymander their way into the majority—which would be disastrous.

But according to 538, the latest Census data release “throws a much-needed lifeline to Democrats.” The areas that lost population are Republican-strongholds, and the areas that gained it are more likely to vote Republican.

This might be some good news, but we still need to fight harder than ever to protect the Democratic majority that you’ve built over the past four years.
