John,

I offer our warmest greetings as Jews in the United States, Israel, and around the world begin to observe Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Rosh Hashanah is a time for personal reflection, prayer, and repentance. Jewish tradition instructs us to look introspectively at the past and hope, prospectively for a better future.

As this year's observance coincides with the 20th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we can all draw upon these lessons of spiritual and personal resilience.

On behalf of the entire NYGOP, Erin and I send our best wishes for a Shana Tova u'Metukah.
Sincerely,
