– A Virtual Event –

The Institute for Women’s Policy Research is delighted to host Nicole Lynn Lewis for a discussion about her powerful new book, Pregnant Girl: A Story of Teen Motherhood, College, and Creating a Better Future for Young Families. A former teen mother who put herself through the College of William & Mary with her three-month old daughter in tow, Ms. Lewis built on her own experience and founded Generation Hope, an organization dedicated to helping teen parents earn college degrees and forge a path to economic opportunity. Now, in her new book, she shares deeply personal insights into this national issue and her own policy prescriptions for the future success of teen parents.

This special IWPR event will be held virtually on September 14, 2021. Mark your calendars now!
