If you would like a reminder of what the “Kid’s, We're Bankrupt and We Didn’t Even Know It” tour I’m now on, and ultimately what this campaign is all about, I’d ask you read the article below that appeared in the Quad City Times in Davenport, Iowa. Trying to raise the issue of where our nation is going financially is an uphill task, but in every stop we have had local television and print news show up, and we have had the chance to talk about these themes with people at each stop.

Whether we can get the debt and government spending issue debated in this Presidential campaign remains to be seen..but I am trying, one city and one conversation at a time.

And all of us can do our part in raising the giant issue no one in politics seems to want to talk about, and so I really do ask that you join us. I would ask that you send the article below to ten friends and/or share it on social media. Hopefully things like this will get them talking.

I’d also ask you send gas money!

Not a big contribution, but something small. Every $10, $25 or $50 goes a long way toward paying for a trip like the one we are on now - or the daily expenses of running a grassroots campaign like the one we have started.

To do so you can contribute online at www.MarkSanford.com, text "Sanford2020" to 225-25, or by traditional mail at Sanford 2020, PO Box 593, Sullivans Island, SC 29482

Thanks for considering...and please give me your thoughts on the article below…
