Dear John,

I don’t have to tell you that the pandemic has brought into high relief systemic inequities in labor, education, and more.

Reproductive justice requires improving conditions for parents and caregivers.

As we look to the coming year ahead for students and teachers, made especially stressful when many children are too young to be vaccinated during an upsurge of the pandemic, Reproaction is doubling down on our commitments to advance reproductive justice for all by calling for strengthening paid family leave, workplace protections for medical and pregnancy care, improving working conditions and accommodations for caregivers and care providers, and more.

I am a working parent who stands with other working parents and care providers to build a better future.

Sincerely,

Erin Matson
Executive Director

P.S. There is no reproductive justice movement without the teachers, day care workers, and other caregivers whose work paves the way for our young people to learn and thrive. Give if you agree.
