Seattle DSA's Nikkita 4 Nine Subcommittee welcomes you to the first phone bank of the general election. Newcomers will be trained on how it works. Simply attend online Thursday, September 2 at 7 PM. We'll be calling people to come join us and also volunteer how they can. You can talk to other people about Nikkita Oliver's abolitionist- and people-first platform that wants to house people, not displace through sweeps and high rents; that wants to invest in you and your community, not policing and prisons. We'll be hearing about the newly formed Labor Committee, how groups are coordinating work across the chapter, exciting updates regarding the multiple Seatle DSA for Nikkita4Nine Subcommittee work, as well as discuss two voting items: to endorse abolitionist Nicole Thomas-Kennedy for City Attorney and a plan to prioritize work getting Nikkita Oliver elected to City Council Position 9.

Hurricane Ida Mutual Aid

With the help of some Cajun comrades, DSA National's Mutual Aid Working Group put together a thread how you can support mutual aid work in response to Hurricane Ida.
