Dear John,
It’s a busy Friday afternoon so I’m going to get straight to the digest. I hope you’re doing well and appreciate all your notes!
Here’s what we’re reading, watching, and listening to this week:
1. Line 3
This week, 2,000 Indigenous leaders, activists, and elected officials held a massive peaceful protest at the State Capitol this week, calling on Gov. Walz and President Biden to #StopLine3. Native-led protests are still happening at the Capitol now. Read more about the continued resistance to Line 3 and see photos in the Star Tribune.

2. Don’t Rank Frey

7. Health Care
This New York Times piece is one of the best I’ve read in years. What is the actual cost of health care procedures in the U.S.? Why are patients charged vastly different prices for the same care? Check out this interactive, in-depth story on the cost of health care in the U.S.
