Our candidates don’t have the necessary funds to enter the political space.

This barrier is one of the primary hurdles we aim to dismantle by providing these candidates with direct cash for things like hiring staff, printing literature, investing in marketing, and even purchasing essential items like phones and transportation.

But cash isn't the only thing standing in these candidates' way. Another significant barrier to entry that we address at BTE is the lack of political experience and knowledge when entering this space. We offer comprehensive training and tools for candidates and staff so that they have the skills they need to run an effective campaign.

And right now, we need more money for training if we’re going to carry on this important work.

Our training fund is running low, which means that we can’t put these working-class candidates in the races that we need them to be in so that they can fight for an inclusive Democratic government.

So today, I’m asking you personally if you can step up and help out by pitching in just $10 or $20 to our BTE Training Fund. Your gift will directly impact our ability to help candidates understand the Democratic political landscape so that they have an equal opportunity to defeat their more advantaged opponents. BARRIER TO ENTRY PAC supports candidates and campaign staff from working class backgrounds as they carve their paths in the Democratic political space. We provide direct cash assistance for essential items like phones, cars, laptops, and living stipends -- which often times, these candidates and their campaigns don't have access to. We also serve as a resource for individual mentorship and training to ensure candidates and their staff feel supported and equipped to enter the political space.
