The results aren’t surprising.

42% said that protecting voting rights and fighting GOP voter suppression was your top priority. Makes sense. No matter how many lies we unmask or corruption schemes we reveal, the Trump mob wins if they rig the game and disenfranchise our most vulnerable voters.

20% of you said that defeating Trump cronies running in 2022 matters most. Ditto. 

Protecting our elections – both from suppression campaigns now and from Trump mini-me’s on the ballot – means not only building pressure on elected officials, unmasking the sycophant candidates creeping from the woodwork, and holding corporations accountable for their contributions to authoritarians. 

Many of you agreed it also means fighting in key governors races this year. Ducey, DeSantis, and Abbott are bowing to Trump at all costs, keeping voters from the ballot box and sowing COVID chaos in their states. 

We’re not letting Ron DeSantis suppress Florida voters and put kids' lives at risk from COVID now so that he can run for president from the Governor’s Mansion in 2024. 

We’re not letting Doug Ducey get away with risking the lives of Arizona children for political gain. 

We’re not letting Greg Abbott sneak by in silence while tens of thousands of Texas voters are disenfranchised.
