Thousands of you have asked your MP to commit to protecting our NHS from trade deals - and they're listening.
Because of your action, MPs will have the chance to vote on Monday on an amendment to the Queen's Speech which ends privatisation and protects the NHS from trade deals - exactly what our pledge is asking them to do!
Shadow Health Secretary Jonathan Ashworth tabled the amendment after backing our campaign.
Now is the time to ask your MP to sign our pledge:
This is a great step forward in the fight to protect our NHS. Even if the amendment doesn't pass, the voting record will show us who is really committed to protecting our NHS, and who would be happy to throw it to the wolves of private healthcare.
Email your MP today and ask them to sign our pledge - they can demonstrate their support by voting for the amendment on Monday.
If your MP is a Conservative, it's even more important that you email them! They need to see how strongly the public feel about protecting their NHS. We've seen some interesting replies from Conservative MPs so far, with typical responses denying that the NHS is under threat.
