Incoming LG Brian Benjamin is a Pro-Criminal/Anti-Police Radical With a Shady Ethics History
- Benjamin is a champion of “defund the police” and repealing 50A, putting our police officers at risk.
- He wrote “Less is More” Act, which makes it harder to reincarcerate parole violators and rewards them after violations
- Pushed for the Closing of Rikers Island, which would put jails in the heart of residential communities.
- Supported by radical groups like “Indivisible”
Indivisible Brooklyn:
- During his comptroller campaign, he got busted receiving thousands in “straw donations” from people who never heard of him, one was a two year-old child.
- Benjamin was caught taking a salary from a notorious, shady, subprime mortgage firm.
- Has a history of misusing campaign funds to pay for personal/non-campaign related items.
- He and Cuomo share close allies. His first election to the senate was orchestrated by one of Cuomo’s closest confidantes, Manhattan County Democrat boss Keith Wright, who other Democrats accused of election suppression in trying to install him into office.
