John,
This is a longer email - but bear with me, it’s important. With the Republican Party openly embracing Trump’s big lie, voter suppression, and deadly anti-science policies as COVID-19 continues to rip through our country, the stakes in the battle for the Senate have never been higher.
John, that’s why we launched the Battlefield Expansion Project. It’s becoming painfully clear that holding the majority in the Senate is going to be tough and we’ll have to provide early and ongoing support to Senate candidates in states where Democrats can play offense in 2022 — Iowa, Ohio, and Wisconsin if we’re going to have a chance. That is our mission at BXP, but to do that we need your help!
The Senate is tied, and Republicans can rely on unlimited support from wealthy special interests — including Donald Trump, whose organization has over $100 million cash-on-hand. To fight back, we need the resources to make critical early investments.
Before our end-of-month deadline on Tuesday at midnight, we need to raise $25,000 to invest in midterm outreach in critical Senate battlefield states. Click here to rush a donation now to help keep the Senate (and another Supreme Court nomination) out of Mitch McConnell’s control!
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately.
While we may not have the unlimited support of Donald Trump’s wealthy special interest donors, what we do have is science and grassroots energy on our side.
But, to capitalize on this energy, we need to invest early to avoid being drowned out by their big money and build the long-term organizing infrastructure we need to overcome it. Our team has put together an analysis of the Senate races — you can see it at www.battlefieldexpansion.com.
The difficult reality is that if the election were held today, we’d likely lose the House and Senate. Our team is doing everything we can to stop that from happening. Join our effort and invest in electing more Democrats to the Senate in critical battleground states by clicking here!
In solidarity,
Robert Dempsey, Executive Director
