We’re getting closer and closer to the end of the quarter every day — and when we hit the fourth quarter of 2021, we’re going to have to start seriously preparing for the possibility that Mondaire will have a primary challenge.

Raising money to prepare for this possibility early is important for two reasons:

1. Posting strong fundraising numbers will show everyone the strength of our movement, and could dissuade potential corporate-backed opponents from jumping into this race — but even if they do:
2. We’ll have the funds needed to go up against anyone who challenges Mondaire and win.

But the truth is that we won’t be able to do that if we don’t see a huge uptick in our fundraising in the coming weeks. We also know, since New York is poised to lose a seat in redistricting, Mondaire’s district will look different. So, please, John:
