Since the January 6 attack on our Capitol, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has done everything in his power to impede an investigation into the insurrection.
McCarthy shot down a bipartisan investigation earlier this year, and when asked to nominate Republicans for Pelosi's select committee -- he included Republicans who promoted Trump's Big Lie and voted to overturn the election results.
The select committee investigation is underway, but McCarthy is sending a message that he won't participate willingly. When asked if he would comply with a subpoena, McCarthy simply laughed, and he even admitted to not watching the testimony of the Capitol police officers.
Kevin McCarthy might not be concerned with the truth about the events of January 6, but we are. That's why we're calling and emailing McCarthy to urge him to fully cooperate in this investigation.
