Hi team,

I just left a meeting with my campaign team where we discussed our latest fundraising.

I will say, I went in with low expectations. I have a fantastic team, of course! But year after year, summer fundraising proves more difficult than other months, especially in “off” election-cycle years.

With this context in mind, I’m thrilled with the presentation the finance team put together. We’re right on track for August, so I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who was able to contribute.

Though we’re on track for now, we don’t have any wiggle room for the rest of the month if we’re going to meet our goal. So I have to ask, can you chip in to help us get there?
