Dear Friend,

Last week the Senate passed the $3.5 trillion budget resolution for the 2022 fiscal year. This is a huge win for us because it included $107 billion to update our immigration system and place millions of undocumented immigrants already living in the U.S. on a pathway to citizenship.

The budget resolution is now off to the House of Representatives where if it passes, it will be one step closer to being signed by President Biden. If passed and signed by President Biden, this would be the biggest step towards citizenship for undocumented immigrants since the Reagan Administration.

President Biden has made immigration reform one of the top issues of his presidency - and we're making sure it becomes a reality.
While the passage of the budget resolution in the Senate is a huge win for undocumented immigrants across the country, the work does not stop here.

Can you chip in today to help us work to get this budget resolution to the finish line and help millions of undocumented immigrants gain a pathway to citizenship? [[link removed]]

This budget resolution is a big step in the right direction. It is critical that it passes in the House. We at America's Voice are engaging with members of Congress to make sure that it does. We need to make sure no one is left behind and that undocumented immigrants - including Dreamers, TPS holders, farm workers and the essential workers that have helped us get through this pandemic are recognized for the Americans they already are.

The country is ready. The momentum is building. Chip in now to ensure we get this done. [[link removed]]
