I'm sure you saw the news, .

Donald Trump came to Texas last night, bringing his divisive message of hate and fear and obscene ignorance -- denigrating Harvey survivors, spreading lies, and making light of the fact that we've just let ISIS fighters free in Northern Syria because of his corrupt relationship with Turkey.

200,000 innocent people have been displaced. Hundreds of people dead, including children and summary executions of human rights activists. ISIS prisoners escaping while we turn our back on our allies, the Kurds, who fought bravely for freedom and independence, now being left to be slaughtered.

In a 354 - 60 vote in the House on Tuesday, Roger Williams couldn't even muster the courage to condemn that.

Why won't he stand up for this country? Why does he continue to put the interests of the Trump family, of big banks, and of big money over the people in Texas he is supposed to serve?

We have a President -- and a Congressman -- who make decisions based on what makes them richer and what keeps them in power, not on what’s good for the country. It's going to be up to us to remove them both from office so that we can achieve real wins for our communities, families, and country.
