Team,

Ras is ready to get bold about the basics as the next Governor of Iowa, and that starts with education.

Last week, Ras rolled out his plan for getting Iowa’s public schools back to #1 in the nation again and has held roundtables with area educators in Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Newton. Iowa educators are working tirelessly to support students and families, but they are frustrated because they are not valued by Governor Reynolds or the GOP legislature.

Our public schools are the backbone of our communities, a catalyst for economic mobility and, at our best, a source of pride for our state. But right now, there’s a major disconnect between politicians and our classrooms — and Ras wants to change that.

If you want to elect a governor who prioritizes education, will you pitch in $10 to support Ras?

While Governor Kim Reynolds rejected $97 million in federal funding for schools, and has instead prioritized private and for-profit charter schools, Ras has a plan to properly invest in our public school system so every child in Iowa can experience a first-rate education.

Through his K-12 Education Plan, Ras plans on prioritizing students and families regardless of zip code, background, or family income, empowering educators with the support they need, and putting public dollars into public schools.

Iowa was once home to the best schools in the country, and we can be that state again under Ras’s leadership. Help us make it happen by supporting our campaign with a contribution today.
