on all that Jamaal and our progressive movement has achieved since the
start of the month.
But before we do, our mid-month fundraising push is well underway, and

We began the month with a massive demonstration of grassroots power when
we rallied behind Rep. Cori Bush in her on-the-ground efforts to extend
the eviction moratorium. Together, we amplified the voice of the people
and brought our needs and issues straight to the Capitol.

After five days, our progressive movement won; President Biden announced
the extension of the eviction moratorium, saving millions from losing
their homes during to the pandemic.

We also received news that the House of Representatives approved more than
$5.4 million for all ten of the Community Project Funding requests that
Jamaal submitted for New York's 16th District — getting our district one
step closer to receiving much-needed support to vitalize our communities.

We've accomplished a lot this month, but our hard work doesn't end
here, John. We
must continue to seize every opportunity to take impactful action and keep
Jamaal legislating — which is why it's critical we reach fundraising goals
like this one.
