John,

The few critical thinkers left in this country should be enraged by the Republican establishment's complicity toward QAnon and their conspiracies.

Our democracy is under attack by people who actually believe that all Democrats are “Satan-worshiping pedophiles.” On top of that, QAnon conspiracists are now claiming that four D.C. police officers were assassinated by the “deep state,” when in reality those officers committed suicide as a result of the trauma they faced on January 6 -- trauma resulting from the QAnon-supported insurrection.

Two questions for you, John: Why do you think so many Republicans are hesitant to condemn QAnon's conspiracy theories? And why are proud QAnon supporters like Marjorie Taylor Greene so frequently rewarded by the GOP establishment?

The truth likely won't surprise you: Republicans are filling their campaign coffers from these baseless conspiracy theories.

By refusing to distance themselves from QAnon, and by crafting their rhetoric to amplify conspiracy theories, the Republican party has made it clear that rational thinking and free expression are not priorities for the GOP. They will promote whatever will keep their campaign dollars flowing to remain in power -- no matter what the truth is. And they'll cash in on the conspiracies at every opportunity.

We need your help, John. QAnon represents an existential threat to our freethinking way of life. We've got to get organized if we want to protect our most fundamental rights.
