New U.S. Census data shows that economic hardship declined in households with children following the first payments of the expanded Child Tax Credit in July.

96% of Colorado families will benefit from the expanded Child Tax Credit, and Colorado families received an average of $420 in July. They will continue to receive this tax cut through December thanks to Michael’s tireless advocacy spanning six years.
