Donald Trump may be out of office, but Governors Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott are still beholden to him and the MAGA mob—and children are paying the price.

Florida and Texas are experiencing some of the highest rates of COVID cases in the entire country and their ghoulish governors won’t do anything about it. They refuse to institute mask mandates, and what’s worse, they refuse to allow communities and schools in their states to make their own choices about keeping people safe.

With children going back to school and many too young to be vaccinated, it’s disgusting for DeSantis and Abbott to use these kids as political pawns in order to score points with Trump and his followers.

Both DeSantis and Abbott are running for re-election next year, and we have the power to show them that their actions have consequences. Rush in a split contribution today to support the Florida and Texas Democratic parties taking them on.

The Texas and Florida elections for governor are going to be expensive and every dollar you invest now will pay off next year, so please, give what you can to defeat DeSantis and Abbott.
