Friend, what does a week look like now in Trump’s Republican mob? 

Let’s recap just a few of the highlights:

The governors of two of the largest states are letting COVID burn because their idiotic dogwhistles about “my freedom” play to their Fox News propaganda-loving audience. In Florida, Ron DeSantis is threatening local school boards with lawsuits and mass firings unless they play by his rules. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is threatening the same, oh, and preparing to arrest his political opponents. 

The old GOP model of "the best government is local" in the name of “freedom” has been replaced by Orwellian thought-control over school curricula and gag orders on health officials. 

Our favorite Texas U.S. Senator is the leading anti-vaxxer in American public life, spewing conspiracies that efforts to defeat COVID are intentional infringements on “my freedom” … while sending his kids to a $30k/year private school… with mask mandates. Of course it’s Ted Cruz.

People like Cruz who, in private, receive vaccinations and follow health guidance to protect themselves publicly assert the response to COVID is some nefarious Marxist plot to control America, celebrating low vaccination rates and sowing distrust in health officials. Of course, where there’s Trump, there’s a scam, and they keep coming. The largest and most important GOP fundraising tool has been unveiled as a giant interlocking set of questionably legal grift machines bleeding dry the vulnerable and elderly, brainwashed by their far-right media propaganda machine and swindled out of millions. No wonder the MyPillow guy keeps funding “research” into “data packets”. They’re scamming their own people here.

Their response? One of the far-right’s biggest scam influencers is trying to get in on it! He’s launching his own payment platform to skirt the oversight that’s already cost the Trump mafia tens of millions of dollars in recalled, illegitimate donations from the WinRed scandal. The Trump grift never ends. 

And the best way to keep the scam going? Run for leader of the free world.That’s why Donald Trump is running for President again, and every Republican wannabe Presidential contender from Ron DeSantis to Ted Cruz to Josh Hawley can’t do a thing about it. 

2028 GOP presidential hopeful Tucker Carlson spent a week praising Hungarian dictator and murderous autocrat Orbán, yet remains the golden boy of the Fox News propaganda machine preaching to our parents and grandparents every night. 

Two days ago, a member of the U.S. Senate said it was just fine for a President of the United States to plot an overthrow of a democratic election with his clan of delinquents, degenerates, and wannabe-Leninists. 

This is how democracy dies. Not with bang, but with a Fox News hit followed by a fundraising email or a plea to buy more pillows, gold, crypto, or whatever funds their machine.

That’s just this past week in the Republican “party”. It’s lies vs. truth, chaos vs. sanity, autocracy vs. democracy. That’s our fight, and only you can keep us in it.
