À moins de réduire immédiatement, rapidement et massivement les émissions
de gaz à effet de serre, limiter le réchauffement de la planète sous la
barre des 2 °C sera impossible. C’est le nouveau constat du Groupe
d'experts intergouvernemental sur l'évolution du climat (GIEC).

Malgré les belles promesses, Justin Trudeau et les libéraux font partie du
problème.

En plus d’avoir acheté l’oléoduc Trans Mountain, un projet polluant qui
sape nos efforts pour lutter contre les changements climatiques, Justin
Trudeau dépasse même Stephen Harper en termes de financement de
l’industrie du gaz et du pétrole. Ses belles paroles n’ont été que de la
poudre aux yeux, car le Canada demeure le seul pays du G7 dont les
émissions ont augmenté depuis la signature de l'Accord de Paris. Il avait
promis que le Canada serait un leader mondial en matière de climat et
finalement, nous sommes des cancres.

Jagmeet et le NPD sont prêts pour le changement de cap.  

Ensemble, nous pouvons lutter immédiatement et concrètement contre les
changements climatiques et freiner les impacts négatifs sur notre planète.
L’urgence climatique est peut-être alarmante, mais nous pouvons y arriver,
si nous sommes prêts à oser ensemble. Avec un gouvernement qui sera prêt à
se tenir debout devant les grandes pétrolières et à investir massivement
dans la lutte climatique et la création de bons emplois, c’est un défi que
nous pouvons relever.

Unless we immediately, rapidly and massively reduce greenhouse gas
emissions, limiting global warming to below 2°C will be impossible. This
is the new finding of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
(IPCC).

Despite the fine promises, Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are part of the
problem.

Not only did Justin Trudeau buy the Trans Mountain pipeline, a polluting
project that undermines our efforts to fight climate change, he is even
surpassing Stephen Harper in terms of funding the oil and gas industry.
His rhetoric has been nothing but smoke and mirrors, as Canada remains the
only G7 country whose emissions have increased since the Paris Agreement
was signed. He promised that Canada would be a world leader on climate and
in the end, we are failing.

Jagmeet and the NDP are ready to change course.  

Together, we can take immediate and concrete action on climate change and
stop the negative impacts on our planet. The climate emergency may be
alarming, but we can do it, if we are willing to dare together. With a
government that is willing to stand up to Big Oil and invest heavily in
climate action and good jobs, this is a challenge we can meet.
