The more and more I hear about what’s going on in DC, the more I think about trust. I don’t know how anyone could watch the news these days and trust the people in power—the people who are supposed to be working for us.
I don’t think they’re bad people. They may just have forgotten where they came from, being in DC so long.
Listen, if I could move the nation’s capital to Colorado, I would—that way our representatives wouldn’t have to go so far away. They wouldn’t forget about us then. But I can’t. That’s why trust is so important for whoever we send to DC to represent us.
I’m a fifth-generation Coloradan. My family taught me farming and ranching. They taught me the value of serving my community and how to earn the trust of my community. That’s what I’ve done ever since. I’ve worked to protect public lands, fought for rural water rights, and served as a State Representative.
Rural Colorado is my life. It’s all I know—that’s why you can trust me to represent us in DC. I won’t fall for the glitz or the glam. If I could choose to live anywhere, it would be right here in Rural Colorado.
This is why I am the best candidate to represent CD-3. I’m a proven public servant, and I know the value of your trust. I’ll fight to make sure Rural Coloradans stop getting cut out at the negotiating table. Every decision I make will be for this district first and foremost, not the special interests.
