Trump's actions and rhetoric following the 2020 election led to a white supremacist mob storming our nation's Capitol building. We need Trump to fully comply with this investigation in order to hold the responsible parties accountable and protect our democracy.
But if history taught us anything, we can expect that Trump will do everything in his power to impede this investigation. If he won't willingly cooperate, we must subpoena him.
