| Dear John, We want to talk to you today about a conscious choice we’re making in our messaging and language, and that is, that we’re going to be straying away from using “Republicans” and “GOP.” Instead, we’re going to start referring to treasonous, anti-democracy members of Congress as the “GQP radical extremist right.” Let's be clear: We are not the ones choosing to use this terminology. They are by their words and actions. They have abandoned any resemblance of conservative values in exchange for greed, hatred, racism, and ignorance. They are a party that mocks science and cheers on insurrectionists. They are a party who undermines the very foundation of our democracy, and encourages violence in the halls of our Capitol. We won’t be taking this assault on our American ideals lying down, and why I need your help right now to help us take our democracy back. We know we ask a lot, but we have a slate of candidates who are committed to taking on the worst of the worst offenders, and our work is centered on supporting them. What's worse about these GQP members of Congress? They are actively taking their messaging and using propaganda state television tactics used by dictators and applying it here in America with the help of Fox, NewMax, Brietbart, and other nefarious outlets. And that's what it all boils down to. We need to win because Democrats are actively making meaningful progress for Americans that must be continued. While the GOP is morphing into the GPQ with their extensive support of their congressional members like Marjorie Taylor-Greene who actively subscribe to and peddle Q-Anon conspiracy theories. We need to win and elect even more Democrats with strong values and a determination to improve the lives of working families. We need to win because we're already headed in the right direction and because there is hope to go even further. And we cannot afford to regress because of GQP members who continue to promote unscientific falsehoods and believe revealing if they’ve taken the COVID-19 vaccine constitutes a HIPPA violation. So before we let you get back to your families and get some rest, we'll leave you with this thought: imagine the possibilities if we not only protect our current Democratic majorities, but we expand.
