Chairman Langworthy to Blast Public Finance Commission Report Release Date, Call for More Time for Public Scrutiny
New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy will blast the Public Finance Commission for its decision to release its report on the day before Thanksgiving and call for more time for public scrutiny at a press conference today, October 17th at 1:00pm in the LCA press room in Albany.
Chairman Langworthy has been a critic of Governor Cuomo’s handling of the commission designed to rig the results in his favor and this latest revelation is further evidence, giving lawmakers and the public little time to fully scrutinize the findings before they automatically become law.
