Part of BACKROADS PAC’s mission is to cut through the right-wing noise machine that has dominated rural communities, and show voters why Democratic policies actually benefit them.

A recent study on the expanded Child Tax Credit shows just how important this mission is. Researchers found that the tax credit that gives families up to $300 per month, per child “will shower outsize benefits on residents of rural and less populous states and will deliver a disproportionately large relative boost to their local economies.”

It’s important to remember that ZERO congressional Republicans voted for this transformative plan. They are so devoted to their cruel political worldview that they don’t even support policies that benefit their constituents.
