John,
The January 6 investigation is underway, and the leaders of this committee are promising a thorough investigation into this attack on our democracy.
Last week, members of law enforcement who served on that day shared their experiences with the commission. Through their testimony, we learned the details about the horrors that they faced, but there's still more to be uncovered.
We know that several congressional Republicans had contact with Donald Trump either on January 6 or in the days prior. Their testimony is crucial to uncovering the truth about who's responsible for the attack, but we know that many of them won't take the stand voluntarily.
So we have a quick question for you, John:
Should the Republicans in Congress who had contact with Donald Trump leading up to the January 6 attack be subpoenaed?
