There's no way around it, friend: I just spoke with my team about closing our July end-of-month fundraising gap, and they told me that unless we see a serious increase in grassroots donations, we're on track to fall short of our critical fundraising goal again.

This is not a deadline we can treat casually. Experts at POLITICO say that Democrats' chances of defending our razor-thin Senate majority hinge on keeping Georgia blue. That makes me the most vulnerable incumbent Senate Democrat up for reelection next year – and NBC News confirms that the GOP is already coming after me as their top target for defeat. 

Put all that together, and if we fall short here, we may end up dangerously behind – which could put the seat we fought so hard to turn blue right back into Mitch McConnell's hands.

That's why tonight's midnight deadline couldn't be more important: The only way we can turn this around is if grassroots supporters like you chip in right away. We've got no corporate PACs swooping in to save us – just the power of people like you. That power got us into office, and now, I'm counting on it to help keep us there.
