Spirit Day is October 17, 2019

Friend, tomorrow is Spirit Day, one of our most important days of the year here at GLAAD. It’s a day when millions of Americans come together to show our LGBTQ youth that we support them, that we will fight together to prevent bullying and violence, and that we will not rest until all LGBTQ Americans experience full acceptance and equality.

Today, I’m so pleased to announce a major step forward in this important work: An anonymous donor has agreed to match all donations to GLAAD’s Spirit Day Fund through the end of the day tomorrow! Friend, will you help us take advantage of this generous offer by donating $25 to the Spirit Day Fund now to double your impact?

Your donation to the Spirit Day Fund will help ensure that GLAAD can fight for LGBTQ youth all year long, from providing grants, mentorship, and leadership skills to young activists to running training and workshops in school districts all over America. As a mom myself, I know just how much difference it makes in the lives of these inspiring young people to see GLAAD invest in their talent, their potential, and their future. Friend, when you donate to the Spirit Day Fund to support GLAAD’s work with LGBTQ youth, you make that investment possible. Help us today to reach more youth in schools tomorrow. Every single dollar you give will go twice as far -- so please, give generously if you’re able.

Your donation will only be matched through the end of Spirit Day, so please give now -- donate $25 to the Spirit Day Fund to support GLAAD’s work with LGBTQ youth, and your donation will be doubled by an anonymous donor:

I want to be a Spirit Day Donor

Thank you so much for all you to do support LGBTQ youth and be sure to participate by wearing purple tomorrow, October 17 or sharing a #SpiritDay message on social media!
