I’m grateful for our majorities that Democrats like you worked so hard to win in 2020. This majority is the only reason we were able to pass the expanded Child Tax Credit, which so many Rhode Island families have already begun to benefit from as checks went out this month.

Without the Democratic majority, Republicans would have killed the bill – not a single Republican member of the House voted to expand the tax credit.
