I wanted to make sure you saw my note about Terry McAuliffe’s fundraising deadline at midnight tonight.  

Recent polls show Trump acolyte Glenn Youngkin within just a few points of winning this election.  

President Biden spoke clearly last week about the importance of electing Terry as our next Governor. And with the entire country watching to see what we do in November, we need to make sure he’s got the resources he needs to compete against​​ Glenn Youngkin’s vast personal wealth.  

Please, pitch in whatever you can to help Terry reach his July fundraising goal and defeat Trumpism and Glenn Youngkin in Virginia this year.

Last week, President Biden spoke at a rally in Arlington in support of Terry McAuliffe’s campaign for Governor of Virginia.

Joe was clear about what’s at stake in this race: Do we expand Virginia’s progress, continue our recovery from the pandemic, and build a Commonwealth that celebrates our strength and diversity? Or do we send it into the hands of a Trump acolyte like Glenn Youngkin?

Joe Biden ran against Trump and won Virginia. Terry McAuliffe can win, too, but he needs our help. The McAuliffe campaign has an important end-of-month fundraising deadline -- would you consider donating any amount that’s meaningful to you and help Terry defeat Glenn Youngkin?

Poll after poll shows the Virginia Governor’s race is a statistical tie -- and that worries me. Because we know that Terry’s opponent, Glenn Youngkin, is not only leaning in to Trump’s offensive rhetoric and policies; he’s also prepared to spend $75 million of his own money to buy the Governor’s office.

There’s way too much at stake to let that happen. If elected, Youngkin could reverse all of the progress we’ve made as a Commonwealth over the last decade.  

With the nation’s eyes squarely on Virginia in 2021, we need to step up and make sure Terry and our other great Virginia Democrats are elected this November. Please, donate what you can today.
