Yesterday, the Daily Beast published an article about how the GOP is stepping up their fundraising scams to con older voters into giving them money—and judging by their record-breaking FEC reports, their tactics are working.

I can promise you, BACKROADS PAC won’t be sending you “past due” notices or enrolling you in an automatic monthly payment scheme. I believe in honesty, and that’s why today I’m telling you that we are short of our July goal, and I’m asking you to chip in $5 or more to get us back on track.

We are up against a party that is willing to cross any line to get power—whether it’s inciting an insurrection or defrauding senior citizens for campaign cash. Democrats need to get serious if we’re going to defeat them.

Will you please contribute anything you can to BACKROADS PAC before the July deadline to support our efforts to defeat rural Republicans and defend the House majority? With so much on the line, we can’t get complacent now.
