John,

America is facing a pandemic of the unvaccinated -- with infections rising in
every state, communities issuing new safety requirements, and updated CDC
guidance on indoor mask-wearing.

For many, it's a time of uncertainty -- and it's a critical moment to ensure
people are getting reliable, expert information.

Dr. Kelly Henning, an epidemiologist who leads our Public Health programs,
walks us through the latest phase of the pandemic in our newest Road to
Recovery video. Will you take a moment to watch, then share to ensure that
people are hearing from a public health expert?

We've seen the dangers of disinformation around COVID-19. Here are the facts:
The majority of new cases today -- and around 97% of those hospitalized with
the virus -- are unvaccinated individuals. In the rare instances of vaccinated
people becoming infected, there is a much lower risk of severe illness.

We want to be sure people know what's behind the surge in cases, and what the
risks are of being unvaccinated. It's essential that people are getting their
information from public health experts.
