Folks, we just found out our Republican opponent Madison Cawthorn is hosting a fundraiser with Donald Trump at Trump’s New Jersey golf club this weekend -- and charging people $50,000 each to attend.

This event will raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for Cawthorn in a single day.

Cawthorn’s overpriced photo op with Trump is exactly the kind of decadent event that proves he’s out of touch with Western North Carolina. He’d rather spend his time with Republican millionaires in New Jersey than the people in his community.
