Many of you that I have been lucky enough to meet or who know the story of this campaign are aware that we do not take a single dime from any PAC -- because the way we're going to achieve real change, providing universal healthcare for every single person in this country, ending the climate crisis, combatting the epidemic of gun violence in this country, is by ending the corrupting influence of money in our politics once and for all.

And some of y'all might also know that know that I'm a huge numbers nerd. That is, honest to goodness, what I'm passionate about. Yes, I was on our inner-city school's Math team -- there is probably nothing nerdier than being a Mathlete. And after law school I wanted to go into the tax world. I honestly just love numbers and math. Which is a big part of the reason I'm so passionate about fixing our broken healthcare system -- I know how that we can do so much better!

And because I believe in 100% transparency, I wanted to make sure you got the numbers on how we did this past quarter directly from me. 

This quarter, with your help, our campaign raised $101,487.68 -- every single penny of that from individual contributions, people chipping in what they could afford, because they believe in this campaign.

93% percent of those donations were $100 or less, and of those, the average contribution was $34.65. 

And an incredible 92% of those contributions came from right here in Texas.

I'm so proud of the campaign we're building -- and it shows that we have real, widespread grassroots support and momentum.
