If there's one thing Chuck Grassley is great at doing, it's taking credit for things he didn't accomplish.

Last week, the Biden administration announced that it will target anti-competitive business practices in the agriculture industry, the first pro-small farmer commitment our government has made in a long time.

Chuck applauded the effort, taking credit for the boost Biden's decision will give to "our farm economy" and cattle market transparency efforts. But we have to raise the question -- why didn't Chuck stick up for small farmers once during his four decades in office?

We'll tell you why John: because he was too busy pocketing millions in special interest money, including $44,000 from big Agribusiness from 2019-2020.

It took a Democrat in power to finally achieve a victory for small farmers. Now, we need another one, Dave Muhlbauer, in the Senate to continue making progress for working folks and small businesses.

Chuck Grassley has long been out of touch with the lives and needs of Iowans.

While Chuck sits back and collects corporate PAC money on Capitol Hill, regular folks are getting squeezed from every direction. Small businesses are getting priced out by mega corporations who don't pay their fair share of taxes and use lobbying and policy manipulation to get an unfair advantage in Congress.
