New studies are rolling in with devastating news: 3 billion birds have disappeared in North America alone over the past 50 years. Dozens of species have been affected, even some of our frequent backyard visitors like blackbirds and meadowlarks.

- Educate students on the importance of birds and other wildlife — and how to protect them — through the Eco-Schools USA Biodiversity Framework
- Advance other programs to support recovery and protection for declining species like meadowlarks.
