States across the country are in the process of drawing up new legislative maps and Republicans have one goal: gerrymander the districts in a way that ensures they hold on to power for years to come.
Republicans are debating breaking up cities in red states to net them even more seats in the House. They're ready to do whatever it takes to drown out the voices of Democrats in their state so they can send even more people to Congress who will go along with their radical and dangerous agenda. This is a clear, undemocratic power grab.
Holding the House majority and defeating the Treason Caucus won't be easy -- and Republicans gerrymandering could make it that much harder. That's why we're getting to work now to ensure that, regardless of how the maps are drawn, we can replace the most dangerous and radical Republicans in Congress with leaders who will defend our democracy.
