Treason Caucus member, Representative Matt Gaetz, is taking his unabashed support for Donald Trump to a new level. At a "Save America" rally in Florida, Gaetz told the crowd, "my commitment to you is that my vote for Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives will go to Donald J. Trump."

He went on to say, as Speaker, Trump would "throw all of the Democrats off of the committees" and "impeach Joe Biden." After voting to overturn the 2020 election results and promoting the Big Lie, Matt Gaetz is continuing to prove he is a danger to our democracy.

We can't say we're surprised by Gaetz's latest power-grab plan. Last month he suggested that the FBI may have played a role in the Capitol insurrection and he was one of 21 Republicans who voted against honoring the officers who served on January 6. He's willing to do and say whatever it takes to rewrite history and shift blame away from Trump and himself.

Gaetz is one of the most radical and dangerous Republicans in Congress. We need to kick him out of office and replace him with a leader who will defend our democracy -- but we're counting on your help.
