I didn’t think the stakes in my U.S. Senate re-election race could get any higher, but Mitch McConnell has other ideas. You wouldn’t believe what he plans to do if Republicans take back the Senate majority.

He says that he will veto President Biden’s Supreme Court nominees. Let me say that again: If there’s an opening on the Supreme Court, Mitch McConnell has promised to stop President Biden from filling it.

The Senate majority comes down to our race in New Hampshire, and it’s sure to be one of the closest in the country. McConnell’s tactics could open the door to the Supreme Court stripping Americans of their health care, and it could mean the end of Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to choose. And a McConnell blockade of the Supreme Court could weaken our democracy and cost citizens their voting rights.

Mitch McConnell knows that beating me in New Hampshire is his best chance at regaining the majority and pulling off his Supreme Court power grab.
