One question defines Americans' third decade: Why am I so sad?
Progressive Muscle Relaxation for Kids (And You) Need everyone to chill out? Try this script on your kids. (And feel free to go through the motions yourself.)
1. “Think about your legs. You are in line to get on a big/huge rollercoaster at the amusement park. You need to stand up as tall as you possibly can to be able to ride the rollercoaster. 2. Here comes the lady to measure you and she needs to see if you can get on the ride. Stretch your legs as long as possible. Make your legs super long. Stretch, stretch, stretch. You are almost tall enough, but not quite there. 3. The lady walked away. Just Relax. 4. Wait, the lady will give you another chance. She’s going to re-measure you. Stand as tall as possible and stretch your legs. Keep stretching. Make your legs super long. 5. Stretch. Keep stretching. Make them long. 6. And relax.”
Stubbornness intensifies depression in American men, something that’s become a pandemic (within a pandemic). Fortunately, finding a good therapist has never been easier. If not therapy, support groups can help you to quit relying on your kids for emotional support (because, really, that’s not going to end well for anyone).

How to Tick-Proof Your Child
1. Understand that in tick country there is no such thing as a tick-free space 2. Apply an insect repellent with a minimum 30 percent DEET 3. Dress your child in long-sleeve and long-leg clothing with elastic at ankles and wrists 4. Check your kids for ticks, paying attention to hair and elastic around underwear 5. Give your kids a bath within a couple hours of being outside 6. Don’t forget to check the pets
