Tonight, we're kicking off OCA - Asian Pacific American Advocates' FREE three-day summit “Building Hope Through Solidarity." There's still time to register — and we're here to help!
Q: How can I attend OCA's virtual summit? A:This year's summit takes place from July 15-17 on Whova, a digital event platform. A mix of live sessions and prerecorded media are available to the public, but free registration is required. Here's how to use Whova (tutorial).
Q: How do I register? A:View this tutorial and RSVP here! In addition to free registration, you have the option to purchase 1-year access to all event recordings in case you can't participate live. Once summit concludes, we'll notify you when all videos are available.
Q: I received a message that says: “You have reached your ticket limit for General Admission.” What do I do? A:This error message means that you are already registered with that email. Please check your inbox to see if you received a prior confirmation message from Whova. If you are still having trouble, reach out to [email protected] for assistance.
Q: Do I have to be a student to join youth track sessions? A:All sessions are open to the public, and you're welcome to join any track or event that you're interested in! View the full schedule.
Q: How are you making sure that summit is accessible? A:We are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible virtual experience. Closed caption is provided when possible and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services will be available during live sessions. Reach out if you require further accommodation.
Q: What if I still have other questions or need direct assistance? A:View all FAQs here or reach out to [email protected]; a staff member will be in touch as soon as possible.
