![]() 10K 4 10R This last week the RPTVEP formally launched its 10K 4 10R project. 150,000 Republican party activists were sent an email explaining the project to them. The project is a simple one. We are seeking to recruit 10,000 Republican activists who will agree to follow up with 10 people whom we believe to be unregistered Republicans in their area. This would yield 100,000 new Republican voters. In addition to the email blast our staff has begun to distribute volunteer sign-up cards which we are distributing at Republican events and we will soon be calling through lists of party activists to ask them to participate. We discussed with the leadership of the Texas Federation of Republican Women the concept of them adopting the 10K 4 10R project as an official TFRW project. We are excited to report that the TFRW leadership has agreed to promote the program. We also discussed the project with the representatives of the Young Republicans, College Republicans, and Young Conservatives of Texas. We expect all these groups to participate. "EARLY ADAPTER PROGRAM" Over the past couple weeks we've also launched our “Early Adapter Program." This program entails enlisting candidates for the State House, State Senate, US House of Representatives and countywide officials to begin working with the RPTVEP in their areas immediately. Specifically in return for the local officials helping to identify and mobilize volunteers for the program the RPTVEP will provide a list of hardcore Republican voters that are unregistered in their districts as well as providing staff assistance for training and follow up. We have had a great response so far to our invitations with almost every targeted elected official agreeing to participate. EVENTS The RPTVEP Staff continues to progress toward the goal of registering 100,000 new voters by attending events hosted by Republican groups across the state.
