(NC) Alabama Crown Distributing adds Hi-Wire Brewing products

Asheville, NC-based Hi-Wire Brewing Co. will be launching Alabama with their entire portfolio, including year-round, seasonal, and specialty beer offerings. For distribution, Hi-Wire has partnered with Alabama Crown Distributing Co., a full-service beverage distributor with wholesale operations in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.

Pennsylvania beer distributor picked for Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame

Later this month City Beverage of Altoona, Pa. will be inducted into the Blair County Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame. Now in its  third generation, the family-owned business is celebrating their 70th anniversary. “We have come a long way. We are truly honored to be inducted — for our family to still be in business for 70 years, that says a lot,” said General Manager Jake Denis.

Top cannabis companies have lost almost $10 billion in market value since vaping crisis began

The vaping crisis has helped cool once white-hot cannabis companies—which may eventually offer legal vaping products—with a $10 billion drop in market value. Four of the biggest cannabis companies, Tilray, Canopy Growth, Aurora Cannabis and Cronos Group—have lost around $10 billion in market value since the CDC launched its multi-state investigation into vaping illnesses on August 1st.
