In case anyone was still under the impression that Donald Trump had “learned his lesson” after the January 6 insurrection, then that debate should be put to rest RIGHT NOW.
It's been over six months since the January 6 insurrection and the attempt by Donald Trump's supporters to destroy our democracy, yet still, Donald Trump is still touring the country and spouting the same dangerous rhetoric that led to that dark day in the first place.
Before Jan. 6, we had the privilege to ignore Trump's outlandish rhetoric. Now, to ignore his rhetoric would be to ignore the GOP's attempts to undermine our democracy.
A terrifying percentage of Republicans think January 6th was justified. And an even greater number have bought Trump's lies about the 2020 election hook, line, and sinker. That rhetoric is inspiring violence that we can no longer ignore. We don't want to seem alarmist, but we're deeply concerned, and need to hear from you:
